Overview of the assembly of the

clamping rail system

Acoustic baffles can be fixed in different ways depending on structural requirements and desired room design. The most common methods include the cable suspension, the mounting in a T-shaped ceiling, and direct construction on the ceiling. Each of these variants has its own procedure and enables a stable and reliable attachment of the baffling elements in various spatial situations. The following sections describe in detail the individual assembly types and the corresponding assembly steps.

Quick&clean installation

The installation of the panels is efficiently designed and requires only a few tools. The clamping rail allows for a clean and organised implementation with minimal effort.

Flexible&adaptable installation

Panels can be easily readjusted or temporarily removed for revisions. The system grows with the room's requirements.

Neat & structuredcable management

Cables for lighting, sensors, or technical components can be neatly and invisibly routed within the clamping rail.

Differences in the assembly of the three variants

There are three mounting options available for fixing acoustic baffles: the cable suspension, installation in a grid ceiling, and direct installation on the ceiling.

The differences between the methods mainly lie in the initial assembly steps. In the cable suspension, the clamp rail is attached to cable hangers and then precisely leveled. In a grid ceiling, the rail is directly clipped into the existing ceiling system, eliminating the need for additional suspension. With direct installation, the attachment is made directly to the ceiling surface by setting and screwing in mounting clips.

Although the subsequent work steps are similar for all methods, the variants differ significantly in how the tracks are supported, aligned, and secured.

Step by step

for quick and clean assembly

1. Rope suspension mounting

The rope suspension is especially suitable for rooms with high ceilings or open ceiling structures. It allows for flexible height positioning and ensures smooth and clear line guidance in the room.

Step-by-step Guide for Rope Suspension

  1. Mark the position of the rope hangers
All drilling points are marked according to the installation plan. The maximum distance between two rope hangers is one and a half meters.

  2. Install the Rope Hangers
Drill holes are made, and the rope hangers are then attached to the ceiling.

  3. Mounting clip on the Rope
The clip for the attachment of the clamp rail is already premounted on the rope, which facilitates installation.

  4. Place the clamp rail
The clamp rail easily snaps onto the mounting clip.

  5. Adjust the rail
If necessary, the rail can be cut with a sheet metal cutter or extended with connectors.

  6. Align and level
The height of the rails is precisely set over the rope stopper so that a clean line is created across the entire surface.

  7. Mounting of acoustic baffles
The BAFFLES are always mounted in pairs since each element is clamped simultaneously in two clamp rails. The soft material allows for complete pressing without tools.

  8. Continuous stabilization
After just two BAFFLES are mounted, a continuous stability is achieved across the entire rail, making the installation of additional elements even faster.

  9. Connection of the elements
All BAFFLES are interconnected with connecting brackets.

  10. Important safety instructions
Each BAFFLE over five hundred millimeters must be hung at two clamp points.
If the last element in a row is shorter than five hundred millimeters, it can be tacked with a clamp rail and a connecting clamp.

2. Grid ceiling mounting

Mounting in a grid ceiling is suitable for work areas, offices, and rooms with existing ceiling systems. It harmoniously integrates into existing structures.

Step-by-step Guide for Grid Ceilings

  1. Installing clips
The clips are attached directly to the grid ceiling using quick fasteners. The maximum distance between two attachment points is one and a half meters.

  2. Attaching the clip rail
The clip rail is placed onto the pre-mounted clips.

  3. Adjusting the rail
If necessary, the rail can be shortened with a tin snip or extended with connectors.

  4. Installing acoustic baffles
The BAFFELN are clamped in by two, as each element is attached to two rails simultaneously. The soft material allows installation without tools.

  5. Stabilising with initial elements
Following the first two BAFFELN, a stable connection is created along the entire clamp rail, making the installation of further elements easier.

  6. Connecting BAFFELN
All elements are secured with connecting clamps.

  7. Observe safety rules
BAFFELN require two clamping points over five hundred millimeters.
Shorter end pieces can be clamped with connecting clamps and rails.

3. Direct mounting

Direct mounting is suitable for all solid ceilings such as concrete, wood, or plaster and is frequently used for raw ceilings.

Step-by-step guide for direct assembly

  1. Set mounting clips
All clips for attaching the clamp rail are marked according to the installation plan. The maximum distance between two fastening points is one and a half metres.

  2. Drilling and fixing
The drill holes are made, and the mounting clips are fixed directly to the ceiling.

  3. Insert clamp rail
In the next step, the clamp rail is mounted onto the clips.

  4. Adjust rails
The rail can be snipped to length with a sheet metal cutter or extended with connectors.

  5. Mounting the acoustic baffles
The BAFFLES are always mounted in pairs. They are simultaneously clamped into two rails and can be pressed in without tools thanks to their soft material.

  6. Stabilising the row
After the first two BAFFLES, a continuous stability is created along the rail, which speeds up the installation of further elements.

  7. Connecting the BAFFLES
All BAFFLES are interconnected with connecting clamps.

  8. Observe safety rules
BAFFLES require two clamp points over five hundred millimeters.
Shorter end pieces can be clamped with a rail and a connecting clamp.
