Siemens Showroom
Where light and acoustics form a unity
For the redesign of the 340m b2 large exhibition space at the BSH site in L f6hne, a comprehensive overall concept was developed that combines openness, functionality, and atmosphere. The aim was to make the innovative strength and high quality of the showcased brands tangible through a design-oriented environment.
Molto Luce, together with designer Ben Elmecker, was responsible for planning and implementing an inclusive light and acoustic solution. The focal point is a freely floating ceiling in dynamic wave optics, which is not only acoustically effective but also creates an intriguing contrast in design to the structured exhibition. It forms the spatial backbone of a concept that places communication, brand impact, and quality of stay on equal footing.
Despite challenging architectural framework conditions—including a non-quadratic room geometry—the concept was realised accurately. The additional integration of an emotionally designed cafeteria completes the usage concept and emphasizes the homely character of the entire space.
The positive feedback shows how convincing the implementation is:
"The ceiling concept combines the most modern design and innovative lighting & acoustic design into a real highlight of our showroom, giving it a particularly high-quality character."
